Mission
Sunnyside Ethanol, LLC is a future renewable fuel producer focusing on producing ethanol, dried distillers grains (DDGS) and food grade CO2. As a producer of renewable fuels, Sunnyside Ethanol pledges to:
- Produce high quality environmental friendly products that are both clean, and renewable;
- Protect and improve the environment through the redevelopment of brownfield sites and reduction of acid mine drainage through the use of waste coal;
- Enhance Pennsylvania development through the creation of quality jobs;
- Lower dependence on foreign oil through the production of domestic renewable fuel;
- Provide and maintain sound investment opportunities for our investors; and
- Practice and maintain the highest ethical business standards.

Eric P. Wallace, CPA - Chief Executive Officer
Eric Wallace is a Partner and Coordinator of Construction Services for Carbis Walker LLP. Carbis Walker, LLP is a CPA firm consisting of 100 professionals in Western PA. Eric is also one of four majority owners of the Fort Pitt Group, LP, one of the largest mechanical contractors in the United States, according to the 2006 rating of ENR (Engineering News Record). Eric has a national reputation as an expert in the construction industry related to accounting, tax, and consulting. Eric has testified before Congress, the House of Representatives Small Business Committee, and the House Ways and Means Committee on construction tax issues. He is also a past recipient of the AICPA Discussion Leader of the Year Award. Eric was named 2002 Regional Accountant Advocate from the U.S. Small Business Administration for his involvement in national issues effecting construction contractors. Eric was one of the founding members of the McGladrey Construction and Real Estate Network (MCREN), which provides construction expertise to CPA firms in the US. He obtained his Bachelor of Science in Public Accounting from Mesa State College of Colorado and attended the University Of Pittsburgh School Of Law. Eric holds CPA licenses in several states. He is a member of the AICPA where he serves on their governing council, the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA), where he served as chairman of the Accounting and Auditing Committee on their governing council for two years and is the current Vice-President. Eric is also a member of the national tax Committees for the Association of General Contractors (AGC) and is the immediate past chairman of the Construction Financial Management Association (CFMA) Tax and Legislative Affairs Committee. Eric is also the author and co-author of numerous articles, several tax and accounting courses for CPAs, and is a presenter on the AICPA video course series. He authored CCH's book, titled CCH's Guide to Construction Contractors with over 1,800 pages dealing with construction and real estate issues on efficiencies, accounting, auditing, tax, and consulting.

H. Joseph Cranston, Jr., P.E. - President
H. Joseph Cranston, Jr. is a 1984, B.S. Mechanical Engineering graduate of the University of Maryland, College Park. He has held his professional engineering license in Maryland since 1991. He has also completed six American Management Association (AMA) courses in finance and has earned AMA's Certificate in Financial Analysis. He has worked in engineering and project management for 24 years for firms such as Johnson Controls, Inc., RMF Engineering, and Trigen Energy. Most recently, Joe was the Sr. Vice President of Engineering and Construction for Constellation Energy's Projects & Services Group (CEPS). At CEPS, Joe was responsible for more than $100 million per year in construction and 34 engineers, including 10 registered engineers, executing projects in more than 10 states. Joe was a key leader in developing and growing CEPS' four, large "BOOM" (build-own-operate-maintain) type projects. Joe performed other duties at CEPS including forming, staffing and managing a plant operations group, developing engineering and reporting standards and being responsible for the environmental health and safety (EH&S) program. Joe is a member of the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE), a recognized expert within the International District Energy Association (IDEA), and has authored and published more than 50 technical reports and studies.

Rick T. DeCesar, Ph.D. - Vice President
Rick DeCesar has more than 25 years of experience as an environmental consultant focusing primarily on serving industrial clients. He is a former Vice President of URS Corporation and Chester Environmental Group. His most recent engagement was with Malcolm Pirnie, Inc. where he managed the Pittsburgh-based industrial practice and was the National Energy Practice Leader. Rick has permitted energy development projects in Pennsylvania, Ohio, Virginia, Delaware, New York, West Virginia and North Carolina. These projects include power plants, electric transmission lines, natural gas transmission pipeline, natural gas storage fields and LNG terminals. His permitting experience includes air quality, wastewater treatment and discharge, wetlands, storage tanks and environmental impact assessments. He also has conducted numerous hazardous waste site investigations and remedial actions in accordance with USEPA's CERCAL and RCRA programs as well as Pennsylvania's Land Recycling and Environmental Remediation Standards Act. Rick also has directed the environmental due diligence efforts for numerous property transfers. He is a co-founder of the Pittsburgh Chapter of the Society of Risk Analysis. Rick is a 1978 graduate of Shippensburg University and received his Ph.D. in Environmental Engineering from the Oregon Graduate Center in 1987.

Brian J. Wallace, MBA - Chief Financial Officer
Brian Wallace received his undergraduate degree in Computer Science from Allegheny College and his MBA from the Tepper School of Business at Carnegie Mellon University. Brian joined the management team as the Chief Financial Officer in 2005.
