Welcome to Sunnyside Ethanol, LLC

Sunnyside Ethanol is a Pennsylvania based company created for the specific purpose of building and operating large scale ethanol manufacturing facilities in the Commonwealth. Sunnyside's strategic model calls for the placement of cogeneration facilities fueled by Pennsylvanian waste coal at its proposed ethanol manufacturing sites for the steam and electric requirements of the ethanol facilities. In addition to the cogeneration facilties, each site will also have a CO2 recovery facility.

Sunnyside Ethanol will be able to differentiate itself from the majority of its competitors through four main differentiating factors. These four factors that give a competitive advantage include:

1. Lower cost of energy through the use of cheap, readily available Pennsylvania coal,
2. Water access and availability,
3. Railroad access and state improvement grants, and
4. Government support through the re-use of Brownfield sites for location of the plants.
